Position Overview: NextTech Communications is growing and looking to hire a Senior Account Executive or Account Supervisor to collaborate and lead accounts in our firm.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as day-to-day support for select clients, managing both strategy and execution
Develop media relations strategies, goals, media targets, pitch angles
Pitch the media
Leverage stellar writing/editing skills to develop and edit content (pitches, bylined articles, blog posts, infographics, white papers, external marketing collateral, and other press materials)
Serve as information leader on client teams, demonstrating industry or media-driven knowledge that directly and indirectly affects the client
Assist in the development of long-term client plans, program recommendations, and developing budgets
Route articles of interest to account teams and client
Manage reporting mechanisms for client and account team
Aid in the research, development and/or pitching of new business proposals
Participate with senior team leaders in or lead client presentations
Coach/mentor junior staff and review their work
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
2-3+ years of relevant public relations and/or integrated marketing experience, ideally B2B professional services and/or tech
Strong media relations skills/experience
Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills
Experience managing accounts and developing strong client relationships
Understanding of integrated PESO marketing strategies
Able to grasp and explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences
Flexible approach: able to change priorities against changing client and team needs
