Position Overview:
The Bliss Group is seeking a visionary and results-driven Digital Marketing Leader to lead and elevate our digital strategy function. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving digital excellence across our client portfolio and internally. We are looking for a seasoned digital strategist with agency experience who can shape integrated programs across email, social media, website UX, SEO, and paid media. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable crafting strategy, counseling clients, leading new business efforts, mentoring junior talent, and rolling up their sleeves for hands-on execution. 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Client Services 

  • Own the development and execution of holistic digital marketing strategies for clients across our four core practices: professional services, financial services, healthcare, and Impact. 
  • Serve as a senior advisor to clients, offering insights and direction on digital strategy, email strategy, social media strategy, full-funnel marketing, and account-based marketing (ABM). 
  • Lead cross-channel integration across email, organic and paid social, paid media, SEO, and website UX. 
  • Partner with account teams to ensure strategies align with broader marketing and business objectives. 

Channel Expertise 
Oversee planning and performance for digital channels, including: 

  • Email Marketing: nurture journeys, segmentation, automation. 
  • Social media: content strategy, community engagement, paid campaigns, with a particular focus on LinkedIn. 
  • Web UX: ensure site experiences align with buyer journeys and conversion goals. 
  • SEO & Paid Media: working knowledge of best practices to inform strategy and oversee execution with specialists. 

New Business & Growth 

  • Drive the digital narrative in new business pitches and organic growth initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on new service offerings and innovation in digital marketing. 

Team Leadership & Development 

  • Mentor, train, and grow digital team members; foster a culture of curiosity, performance, and innovation. 
  • Lead internal digital knowledge-sharing and upskilling across the agency. 

Hands-On Execution 

  • Lead key client deliverables and campaign builds 
  • Jump in to support junior teammates, especially during high-volume periods or new client onboarding. 

Qualifications 

  • 8–12+ years of digital marketing experience. B2B experience required. 
  • Agency experience with a track record of leading multi-channel programs. 
  • LinkedIn experience required. 
  • Expertise across key digital channels (email, social, paid media, SEO, website UX). 
  • Experience with full-funnel marketing and account-based marketing (ABM) is strongly preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of simplifying complexity for senior clients and non-digital colleagues. 
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities. 

Preferred Tools & Platforms 

  • HubSpot, Marketo, or similar marketing automation platforms.

  • Social media platforms (LinkedIn required). 
  • Project management tools (Airtable, Asana, Monday.com, or similar).
